HUNKER IN THE BUNKER
Hunker in the Bunker is a collection of songs recorded during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in Mar. and Apr. 2020.
Compelled to reach out to friends and family during this turbulent time, The High Crest recorded a series of live streams titled, Hunker in the Bunker (which was in-fact what we were all doing, staying at home).
We will always be grateful that music connected us, supported us and carried us through the difficult beginning - together.
Out of these recorded events, these original songs were deemed the favorites, including 5 new unreleased tunes. These song are musical conversations between Kat Darling and Aaron Short, full of spontaneous jamming and improvisation.

We've been in our own studio, learning and working on a whole new way of creating our music.
So much has changed since the COVID-19 pandemic for us, but the thing that remains the same is our LOVE of MUSIC!
We are moving slowly out of the past and into the present.
